Western Pinnacles National Monument 1997
Stuart and Taylor pose for a photo in front of some of the Pinnacles rock formations.  This is the Western entrance near the town of Soledad.  We visit here in March, before the real heat of summer.
The hiking here is nice, not at all crowded.  The caves here are called talus caves.  Debris has collapsed from an ancient volcanic rim to form caves.
Taylor and Stuart stop in front of a trail sign.
Me and the kids pose for a photo, nice view behind us.
